What will you lose if you don’t raise your voice?

This post almost didn’t happen. I worried about asking you for help, for your vote. I thought, why me? What do I have to say that’s so important? Why should I raise my hand, much less my voice? But I did, reluctantly. Nervously. And then, what happened next was beautiful. So many of you took the time to vote, to send words of encouragement. It mattered. Big time.

On March 31, I had the privilege of being a speaker for Ellevate Network’s Raise Her Voice Flagship Event in celebration of Women’s History Month. I shared some of the lessons that other women have taught me so that when I do raise my voice, it’s with purpose, passion and persistence.
